The year in review

I started the year with a crappy car, a temporary job, an unfinished novel, and a bunch of overdue bills.
I'm ending the year with a much better car I got all by myself, a real full-time job, a second draft of the same previously unfinished novel, and ... er, a bunch of overdue bills. (A problem which should be taken care of within the next month. Or tonight if I win the Mega Millions, but still.)
And that's not even mentioning the whole college-student thing, which is huge.
Next year, I think I'll work on getting myself a steady SO. One step at a time, I suppose.
By the way, if what you do at midnight on New Year's is supposed to be indicative of what you're going to be doing the rest of the year, and my current plans are to spend the night eating surf and turf, drinking Smirnoff, working on story notes, and watching the Twilight Zone marathon, then my year is going to be productive, fulfilling, and ... um, occasionally interrupted by Rod Serling stating profound themes in a creepy voice.
