apocalypsosYou know what I could use right about now? Alcohol, and lots of it. And also, a chinchilla and some duct tape, but not for the same reason I could use the alcohol.
Man, am I stressed out. I've got something like sixteen days to scrape together a halfway decent submission for a screenwriting fellowship that might get me an agent and $20,000 for living expenses for a year. See, if I really wanted to save myself a lot of time and energy, I could just write myself a rejection letter and pound my head against my bedroom wall for a day and half.
Sure, it's depressing and pessimistic, but hey, think of how much better that lovely shade of maroon will look on my bedroom wall as opposed to the green-and-brown paisley border that's there now.
Ugh. I think that maybe I might have been watching too many episodes of "Trading Spaces." Or at least one too many episodes where Kia's allowed to Tasmanian-devil her way through another decorating nightmare.
