-- Remember when Bert wasn't such a raging dickweed? Ah, the good old days ... a couple of weeks ago. (Seriously, though, what the hell?! It's like he decided they were all younger than him, so ... fuck it, he's not even going to try. And that's such a pile of bullshit, because he's got plenty in common with these people -- they're all designers, nearly every single man is gay, they're all stuck in the same situation ...)

-- Meanwhile, I still love Anya. I was a little put off by the fact that Becky had a point about her doing all the sewing, but at the same time I think the judges had a point. Joshua M's choice as a leader was to pick one designer for her style and one for her sewing ability. The problem about that is that it puts Becky in a corner if they made the bottom group since she didn't design as much as the others, but it's not an entirely awful choice for a team leader.

That said, I knew when they said the teams would get to work until four o'clock in the morning like it was a fucking gift that someone would snap, and I'm kinda unsurprised it was Joshua. Who I normally like, don't get me wrong, but man, when he gets stressed, he gets mean. I really do think that part of the reason that he went and apologized to Becky was because of the cameras (I do think he may have wanted to normally, but I'm not sure he would have if the cameras weren't on them all).

-- Speaking of having to use Josh M's last initial again, JOSH C!!! I would never have thought I'd be so thrilled to see him again, but if I have to choose between him and Cecilia the big killjoy, I'll choose him. Viktor and Olivier had a point, that he really does seem like the rejected designer who really wanted to do better and would make the most out of a return to the show. And he's obviously well-liked, considering the others speaking up for him. And I'm glad he was on one of the winning teams. He deserved the pick-me-up upon being brought back.

That said, the shirt he was wearing when he was brought back into the workroom is doing nothing to keep me from making jokes about how deep into the closet he is. What the hell was that neckline?

-- Speaking of Bert again - ugh - it partly pisses me off that I agree with the judges. His piece was definitely the best of that lot. The comment about how it looked like someone going to work and wearing her sneaker until she gets there was spot-on, in a good way, I thought. It's his attitude that was the problem. I'm not sure Anthony Ryan didn't encourage it going in thinking that Bert would be a terror to work with, but the thing is that Viktor tried to work with him a couple of weeks ago and look how that turned out. At this point, if you get paired with Bert, you really just have to go, "Fuck it, do whatever the hell you want, Bert," and try not to smother him in his sleep.

-- You know, while I hate that Anthony Ryan would have gotten auf'ed if it were the case, I completely agree with Heidi about the point of the show. One day you're in, and the next day you're out. That pretty much sums up the argument that each challenge should be judged individually.

-- I do love that Heidi called out that the tight minidress with the stripes of fabric on the side seems to get done every week. She seemed to be trying to be nicer than Nina was last week, but her arguments for what needed changing with each design was spot-on. (Then again, I liked that long skirt. Maybe not with sneakers, mind you, but I happen to adore long skirts.)

-- Viktor's dress was hot and I really wish I could afford to buy it. Or that it was still available. It's apparently already sold out along with the jacket. Meanwhile, Anya and Joshua's maxi dress is $118. Holy crap, y'all.
