Or possibly a Welsh joke. In fact there are lots of places randomly famous for their sheep - Wales, New Zealand and the Falkland islands being the ones that come to mind. Although the Falkland jokes are less of the sheep-shagging variety and more of the Thatcher took us to war over three sheep and an albatross variety. Aaaanyway... I've been looking forward to Brokeback Mountain for a while. Ang Lee is clearly a big yellow-bellied lily-livered chicken if he doesn't listen to Jake on this one. If someone suggested having sheep-wrangling as a substitute for kissing in a straight film they'd get laughed right out of California.
