I think it says a lot that the only movie I like Sarah Michelle Gellar in is "Simply Irresistible". And that I own it on DVD.

It's also possible the vacuum of suck that's coming from my DVD player is giving me convertible-with-the-top-down hair.

I adore her in SI.
It's also the movie she looks best in.

The pretty, pretty clothes she wears distract me from Sean Patrick Flannery. That takes a lot, especially considering how incredibly impractical they are for a chef.

But, wheee! Pretty! (It doesn't make me half as hungry as Like Water for Chocolate or Chocolat, though. Mmmm.)

I want to rope in everyone I have ever met and make them watch Simply Irresistible. How can you not love a movie for which the entire plot hinges on the machinations of a MAGIC PUPPET CRAB?

What about Cruel Intentions? You have to admire a movie who'se plot is based on fucking Buffy the Vampire Slayer up the ass.

See, I love SMG, and I pretty much love anything that she's in, but that movie was less than good. After I watched it the first time, I couldn't bring myself to watch it again. That was, um...3ish years ago. Maybe I'll give it another go. I did like the food in it though. Made me hungry. Mmmmm....and Sean Patrick Flannery (sp?) is very pretty.

It's all about the magic puppet crab. Give me that and the ending from "The Punisher," where John Travolta is strapped to a car and set on fire, and I think it could go a long way toward making Hollywood movies way more entertaining.

::re-reads what she's read::

I think I've been reading way too much fanfic because that seems like a totally plausible storyline.

I love SMG but SI... I think it's on my worst movies ever list. I too vote for cruel intentions as her best movie.

Hee, I'm just waiting for someone to say "no, scooby doo is her best movie!" :)

your dvd being behind you? Or you just reversing at high speed in your convertible, in the kind of grreat car-chase that happens in the kind of equally grreat action movies where you're reversing and steering with one arm and shooting a machine gun incredibly accurately with the other. POssibly while doing a handstand.

I bought that movie too! On VHS because I am OLD school. (Actually, it was before everything was on DVD)
