So apparently Julia Roberts had her twins. I like the little girl's name, which is Hazel. Old-fashioned, but still kind of pretty and original. It's the boy's name that gets me -- Phinneaus. You know they're probably going to call it Finn (which isn't that bad), but if they call it Phinneaus, that kid is soooooo going to get it on the playground.

Also, is it eight o'clock yet? Because it has been incredibly difficult to intentionally slack off today with nothing on TV. *sigh*

By Hollywood standards, 'Phinneaus' is pretty average. But woe betide you is you have a really weird name like 'John'. You'll get eaten alive by all the kids called 'Apple' and 'Brooklyn'. *eyeroll*

Totally agreed. Finn is pretty cute, but there are a lot of other ways to get there -- Finnegan is nice, and Finley, which Holly Marie Combs used, is not trememndously awful. Phinnaeus will get him beat up when he's little, and no one will ever be able to spell it without three tries and buying a vowel.

A lot of celebrity kids get shafted with guaranteed-to-get-you-killed-on-the-playground names (Apple? Coco? Die, cruel women, die) but if I was a celebrity kid in that situation, my response would definitely be: "I'm a millionaire, what about you? Why so silent now, huh? Running to mommy, are you? Well, I'm going to run to mine too--BECAUSE MY MOMMY IS JULIA ROBERTS AND YOURS ISN'T, BIATCH!"

I think I may be the only person who thinks Coco wasn't so bad mostly because I figured it was a family name (short for Courtney Cox and her mom's name, too) and I tend to give leeway for family names. (Hence why I never knocked on Richard Gere for naming his kid Homer.)
