apocalypsosTom Wolfe wins 'bad sex in fiction' award -- It's really sad reading that article and realizing that you've read better sex in bad fanfiction. Like, really bad fanfiction. Like, Adultfanfiction.net bad.
A new movie trailer for The Interpreter. Sean Penn and Nicole Kidman? Yeah, that'll make me want to see it. *eye roll* However, to offset the boring, it's a new Batman Begins trailer! *squeals and flails* I swear, Christian Bale's got to have a clause in his contract that he has to take his shirt off in every movie he makes. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. If he can be as good a Batman as Michael Keaton while still being pretty, he wins hands down at Angst-Ridden Gajillionaire.
The yule log is going national. Meh. Forgive me if I don't get the appeal of the yule log. It's a log on fire, obviously having been set on fire because it's possessed by an evil Christmas orchestra. And it plays holiday tunes in a futile effort to distract itself from its fiery torture instead of screaming in agony as it burns to death. I swear, there's a much more interesting Christmastime horror story behind the yule log that we're missing out on. Hmph. It probably attacked an orphanage or stomped Tokyo or something. You don't know. Maybe it deserved to get set on fire. Did you ever think of that? Huh? Huh? Did you?!
Ahem. Anyway, ALEX, the freewheeling character on "The O.C." played by Olivia Wilde, will embark on a lesbian relationship with Marissa, says show creator Josh Schwartz. Yes, that's why nobody likes Marissa with Ryan ... because they want to see her kiss a girl. *eye roll* Oh, wait, I'm sorry. I forgot I don't want to see Mischa Barton kiss anyone. Unless it's the nutritionist who tells her it's okay to eat again.
EDIT: You know, I know every Lost fan and their God's-friggin'-gift-to-humanity brother have checked out the anagrams for 'Ethan Rom', but I wonder if anyone besides me has checked out the ones for 'Hugo Reyes'. 'Cause there are some seriously interesting options there.
