So there's a girl at work who's never seen The Amazing Race, and I usually vent at her every Wednesday because I have no other TAR fans in real life to vent at. Anyway, I've discussed all of the episodes with her along with the spoilers I read last week about who gets Philiminated and when, and I think I've figured something out.

So, according to the spoilers I read, Freddy and Kendra are the next to go. Obviously, with Lori and Bolo nine hours behind everybody else and Freddy and Kendra in the lead, this presents a problem. But I think I've figured out how the hell they could end up getting Philiminated next episode.

The previews for next week show Freddy having a serious temper tantrum, and as much as it might be more realistic that the episode title, "One of You, I'm Gonna Break In Two" would come from either Lori or Bolo, I could have sworn Freddy yelled that in the preview, and if he didn't he sure had good cause to. Anyway, the only possible way I figure they could fall waaaaay behind at this point would be with a Yield.

Who'd give them a Yield? Well, Lori and Bolo are too far back to Yield them at this point, and Hayden and Aaron definitely wouldn't. As for the rest of the teams, the only one who would have a good reason to Yield Freddy and Kendra would be Jonathan and Victoria, since they were the team that kept them in second place last week.

In a dramatic point of view, it would certainly make sense -- distract the audience with that shot of Lori and Bolo sleeping on a bench with a thunderstorm coming (despairdespairdespair), then next week, Philiminate the team that was in first place last leg.

Don't mind me. I don't have anybody to discuss with in real life, so I have to babble here. :)

Freddy did indeed yell that during the preview. If it's not Team Spazzpants out next week, I want it to be Freddy and Kendra. Or just Hayden, because Aaron's really not all that annoying.

At this stage though, the Yeild sounds like the best guess for what makes him break.

I'm really hoping for that spoiler about Freddy and Kendra to be correct, because if it is, it makes the one about who gets eliminated the week after that much closer to being true, and that elimination would make everybody happy, I think. ;)

I got those in the TWoP forums, which is why I'm wary of them. I mean, the first few weeks worth of Philimination spoilers were true, but still ... *crosses fingers*

Freddy did yell that! And honestly, it would make a lot of sense that Jonathan and Victoria would Yield them. Besides it being something Jonathan would do (blaming Freddy and Kendra because he was second last week), he'd definitely play that way. Those Yields knock teams out very quickly... look what it did to Colin and Kristi last race.

I soooo don't want Jonathan and Victoria to win. Grr... that man doesn't deserve it!

Well, then, here's hoping those rumors are true because I heard that right after Freddy and Kendra go, Jonathan and Victoria get eliminated. *crosses fingers* :)

I saw the yelling and I figured they had been yielded. The yield last year wasn't that long, was it? An hour? If they do the internet cafe at night, I wonder if their next task is something with daytime hours, giving Lori and Bolo the chance to catch up, especially if combined with a yield. Those two are rapidly moving up as my favorites, so I don't want them to go.

And I don't want Jonathon to leave until he's been humiliated and/or beaten silly.

*steeples fingers* You know, I was always a clever child. And so whenever I had a problem, I would sit down and think about how to solve it.

I gave candy and chips to little children the other day, and so stored up myself some nice karma and granted your chrissie wish. (That was one of them, no?) and I've written a paragraph of the C/C story.

That night, Claire dreamt of peanut butter. The smell of it taunted her senses, and made her moan with longing. Her legs twined around her too-thick blankets as her mind showed her invisible globs of peanut butter being dripped onto an all-too-visible Charlie.

But I need to actually see Lost. But more will be written, and it will be porny! And cheesy! And will involve orgies?

So can you please help me with my chrissie wish? I know that hundreds of people read you, so I figure if you plug it, as apposed to me plugging to just my own flist, it would explode with comments. /flattery

The TWoP people have said that last season, you got a picture of who yielded you,which would mean it would make less sense for Freddy to be generally mad at everyone.

If that's true, I bet the temper tantrum was about someone somehow screwing with their gear, or otherwise hurting their chances. Not that I would miss team Nuance, though Freddy is easy on the eyes...

Well, after rewatching the teaser again several dozen times, I've figured out the following --

1.) Jon, Kris, Hera, and Gus (the four calmest racers) are trying to talk him down.
2.) Lori and Bolo aren't there.
3.) When he threatens to break someone in half, Jonathan walks towards him. (Whether he gets to break Jonathan in half, we can only hope.)
4.) I need a life. Seriously.
