Yesterday, it was seventy degrees. Right now, there's snow falling outside my window.

I want to beat up a meteorologist.

Is it April yet? Or better yet, May? Or better yet, the hottest week ever recorded in July? Because I could get behind that.

You can have ours. After how pretty it was yesterday, I'm pretty sure there isn't anybody around here who wants it. *throws wimpy DC-area snowball at you*

Feel free to take our crazy hot, humid weather. oh btw, did you end up restarting deadearth? Cause we have a massive cyclone heading our way and I was wondering whether I should start preparing for the apocalypse again.

I'm not sure if it's raining or snowing in Downtown DC. I just know that whatever's coming down, there's a TON of it.

Heehee. I'm in Crystal City, and didn't notice the snow until you said something. Stupid weather. This is what I get for vocal expressions of joy at yesterday's loveliness.

This might make you feel better.

Back on Feb 18, the head meteorologist at one of the local stations said we'd have snow by Feb 28 -- or he'd get into the fountain in front of the radio station to do the weather. (This is made slightly more amusing by the fact that his last name is Fishel.)

On Feb 28 there was snow -- 30 miles north of the airport. It wasn't at the airport, so it wasn't official. So during the 6pm news, in 33 degree weather, he walks out into the fountain wearing a Hawaiian shirt, shorts and beach sandals. He sat in the middle of the fountain, with the spray going all over him, and stayed there for about 30 seconds.

Yep, it finally decided to snow here too. The weather was indecisive for awhile.

That should read "in front of the TV station". D'oh.

They might have pictures at wral.com, if anyone cares.

I want to beat up a meteorologist.

For some reason I read that as 'neurologist'... I spent a good few minutes trying to connect weather to the brain, but alas, I reached no good conclusion. Then I reread it and it makes more sense now ;P

Indeed. I have sleet, and would prefer the snow, but not as much as the nice, pretty, SUNNY weather yesterday.

It was pouring down rain and 50s here yesterday, today it's 12 and snowing hard.

This month needs to be done with.

So it's sort of a regional thing, then? Where I come from, whether or not it's raining depends on what cloud you're standing under, so I'm not used to, like, regular weather that's consistent over an area.

Heh, sorry. I'm totally entranced with the weather out here. I can't help it.

Like a geek sitting in front of a computer watching stuff happen in the air has anything to do with your day-to-day weather.

Hey, my dad's a meteorologist, in montana where the same thing happens.
