I'm sorely tempted to go to an open casting call for Big Brother. Why? Hell if I know. Because I want to go on a reality show and it's easy, probably. The downside is that I have no car and the closest casting calls are in Bedford, VA and Philadelphia, PA. Bah. Sheesh, even American Idol had DC tryouts.

Notice how I talk about it like I even like Big Brother enough to try out. *sigh*

if you're really serious then look into how much it would cost to go by train, bus or plane.

The main problem is that most of them are this weekend, which doesn't give me much time to prepare. I mean, I could, theoretically, but it'd be a squeeze with my budget.

Train to Philly is $50 each way, but Greyhound bus would be cheaper.

Surely there has to be another reality show you could try instead of Big Brother?

I really need to get a passport. All of the good reality shows require passports.

While I'd dearly love you to be on a Reality show - that would mean we couldn't read your snarky comments on LJ....oh but wait...

we could see you deliver them on TV

Anyone want to start a collection to send [livejournal.com profile] trollprincess to the Big Brother audition? I'll pitch in.

Well, The Amazing Race is the best one out there, and I'd be willing to do Survivor, so, yup. :)

bus to philly would be around $43 roundtrip and is around a 3 hr trip. train would cost around $100 roundtrip and is around a 2 hr trip.

they're also having tryouts in New York on Sunday and that's $65 roundtrip by bus.

the schedule also says they're planning on having tryouts in Pittsburgh but haven't set a date yet.

I'm going to work on it the next few weeks. I'll see about getting a passport photo when I get paid this week, and I just called my mom to have her send me my birth certificate. And then, I'll be all set to try out for season nine of TAR. Except, you know, for a teammate. ;)
