Apr. 18th, 2005 09:47 amUrgh. I feel like I have a recapping hangover from finishing 10.5. GYAH. I need a nap, and I just woke up.
Also, I started writing that Shannon/Hurley story last night after Desperate Housewives, and I just desperately need to finish it NOW, even though I can already see it becoming terribly long in the end. I already want to get it out of the way before I get my
xmmficathon assignment, because if I get one of the ones that spawned massive plotbunnies, I'm going to immediately want to start working on the story, and I don't want to put the Shannon/Hurley fic aside and not finish it. Because there's just some lines I wrote last night that ... dude, seriously. I have to finish now. It's a moral imperative. :)
Ah, it's so pretty out! I keep thinking I can't wait until this weekend, aaaaaaaand then I remember my parents are coming in. And just try asking them what their plans are, because they sure as hell don't seem to know. The only thing my mother knows for sure is that she wants to go to the zoo. I keep suggesting places and I get, "Eh, maybe." Then when I told them not to expect to drive too many places because it's too much of a hassle and just to take the Metro, my mother asked me hesitantly if it goes everywhere in the city. *eye roll* Yes, Mother, that's kind of the point. Also, you'll save on gas, so quit worrying. Sheesh.
I'm going to have to call her again today to see if I can actually get a real itinerary this time. Oh, God, I can already feel my headache getting worse.
