I liked it, though. It'd be nice if they really were ending it there.

Also, Not!Leo was hot. Scruffy, but a hot scruffy.

It was supposed to be, I guess, but then they got another season. I like the show (in all its cheesiness), but with a finale like that, I almost wish they would have ended the whole series there. It was nice. :)

I don't watch the show, so I don't mind spoilers. What happened? Did they kill everyone off? Make everyone have crazy sex? What? WHAT?

Not going into spoilers but I would have been satisfied if the series had ended that way.

I missed big chunks of it, alas, but in the end, the sisters faked their deaths and went off with new bodies and a glamoured-up Leo to have a normal life where the demons can't find them. It would have made for a great series finale. (But then again, they ended up getting another season, so ... *shrugs*)

I don't think I'd like that.
The idea of them wanting to be just... normal... is as wrong as the idea some people like to have of Buffy having a chance at a 'normal' life.
They're not normal, that's the whole point of what makes them different, what makes them special. To me being normal is rather far from a happy ending.

From what I gathered they were planning to start over somewhere new with new identies.

I'm guessing we'll see them living their "new lives" and someone magical will find them next season.

You figure... they could covertly contact Victor and get all their money since they left him with everything. And they can get the boys back (or at least see them). Not too many people knew Victor was part of their lives... so I doubt he'd be under surveillance.

What I want to know is how they're going to sort this out in the new season... I'm assuming it'll be like... everyone else sees the "new" identities, while they (and us the viewers) see the sisters as their "real" selves?

Hee. I rather liked the Not!Halliwells better than the usual cast. Well, except Paige. I like Rose. ;) Want to find out who played who in that. To me, GOOGLE!

This is the first episode of Charmed I've watched in years, and only a handful or two of episodes before then. I think I'll catch the reruns this summer, since tv looks to be pretty dry after this week, due to my usual show for viewing got killed a few months ago...but that's a rant for another day.
