Again, for the record, it's immensely difficult to make these copies when I have to keep stopping for the makeout scenes. I'm just sayin'. ;)

Anyway, Apple Trailers just spewed out a whole bunch of new movie trailers, so without further ado:

The Chronicles of Narnia -- Now, that is a gorgeous teaser trailer. :)

Howl's Moving Castle -- Yay! I'm not big on anime, but I adore Miyazaki.

Flightplan -- Okay, so it's Jodie Foster, and so it's The Forgotten on an airplane, but look, Sean Bean is the pilot!

Hustle and Flow -- I'm not a big fan of making-your-way-up-in-the-music-world movies, but this one doesn't look all that bad.

The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D -- I fear for the future of children's entertainment sometimes. I really, really do. *headsmack*

The Dukes of Hazzard -- Just in case anybody missed it the last time.

Bomb the System -- A movie about graffiti. Greaaaaaaat.

Brothers -- Okay, now that one looks kind of interesting.

Up For Grabs -- See, these are the kinds of sports fans that terrify me. And also entertain me, so ... hee. :)

EDIT: Well, this is an interesting, paranoia-filled article about the Desperate Housewives finale. Spoilers a-plenty, obviously, but if you've seen the finale ... damn, but it makes a LOT of good points.

IF only I could find a theatre showing it subtitled. Buena Vista DOES do the best dubs out of all the companies, but I still prefer it in original japanese.

I like the Narnia trailer, but I think the Witch just doesn't look as evil as the one in the BBC version.

Chronicles of Narnia, YAY. That looks so great! The animated version was my favourite movie as a kid.

Not only is the the pilot, he actually has several lines in the trailer! This is an historic occasion.

Although it's rather disconcerting to have Jodie Foster keep yelling my name. I'm just kind of sitting at my desk going "Seriously, Jodie, you don't have to yell, I'm right here."

Narnia! Pretty! The witch looks kinda weird, but Mr. Tumnus has a little red scarf so it's all okay. :)

Because we live in Singapore, where it was released ages ago, I saw Howl's Moving Castle, based on Diana Wynne Jones' book of the same name, in February or March. It is well worth the price of admission, beautifully put together (and I'm not much of an animehead, either).

Re: Shark Boy and Lava Girl -- It's actually going to be in 3-D! And it's directed by the Spy Kids guy. And that little shark boy is so adorable!

I'm so easy.

Im concerned about Howl's Moving Castle..i LOVE that book..and the trailer looks nothing like the book does in my head. Mainly Howl himself, as the house is really freaking cool. of course, i WILL go and see it, but im still going to panic a little.

I saw a commercial for the Shark Boy + Lava Girl thing. I spent the next five minutes staring at my TV and repeating one line over and over.

It went something like this:

TV: A BOY RAISED BY SHARKS!
ME: Raised by sharks...?
TV: A GIRL MADE OF LAVA OR SOMETHING!
ME: Raised by sharks.
TV: THEY CAN'T ACT!
ME: Raised by sharks?
TV: SHARK BOY AND LAVA GIRL IN 3D!
ME: Raised...by....sharks.
TV: REAL MEN USE CIALIS!
ME: Raised by sharks.
TV: SIDE EFFECTS OF SLEEPING PILLS MAY INCLUDE DROWSINESS!
ME: Raised by sharks.
MY BROTHER: You know, 3D in kids' movies just means they don't actually have anything worth watching unless it's trying to crawl into your eyeballs.
ME: Raised by sharks.

To be honest, every few minutes I still repeat it in disbelief. It didn't help that when the TV said it, it showed Shark Boy standing dramatically in the foreground while sharks apparently performed Riverdance behind him. I actually think watching the trailer made me dumber.

MINE MORTAL EYES HAVE SEEN THAT WHICH THEY SHOULD NOT.
