Dear Universal,

If you're going to have a sneak preview of Cinderella Man, some of us would really appreciate it if you could advertise it a little sooner than forty minutes before the start of the movie. Especially on the second day of a three-day weekend when we look like crap and really need to wash our hair.

*headdesk*

Sincerely,

Me

But that's one of the joys of movies. You're in the dark, so none of the strangers who you'll never meet again can see you well enough to care what you look like.

*snerk* What did it? Did the charming jackass-ishness overpower you? ;)

Until a few days ago, I didn't know that the writer of Cinderella Man was Jeremy Schaap, the son of former ESPN/ABC News reporter Dick Schaap. I don't remember exactly where I found out about it; if memory serves, it was during "Mike & Mike In The Morning" on ESPNEWS/ESPN Radio.
