So last night, when everybody was sort of just hanging out and killing time, I whipped out my tarot deck and read for almost every single character I tossed together in the past day or so for the post-apocalyptic novel. (For which, by the way, I'm picturing Clancy Brown as the main male character. Partly because he'd make an excellent Joe, and partly because I now get to hear that voice in my head all that time. Yay for vocal porn! *flails*)

In any event, I love my deck because it's awfully pretty, but man, can it get spooky. I keep having to resist the urge to stop, glare at the layout, and say, "Stop reading my thoughts!" 'Cause, seriously, bad tarot deck! No cookie! (Or, I suppose, good tarot deck. You know, just as long as it's not scaring the crap out of me by being just that right.)

EDIT: I'm watching Independence Day. Because it's the Fourth of July, see. :)

That's an incredibly pretty tarot deck :) I have one by H.R. Giger (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/3822858501/ref=pd_sxp_f/103-9935734-7017425?v=glance&s=books) which is very beautiful but just too damn big to just pick up and do something with.
I think I might frame some of the cards instead.

Does that mean I win?

Ooo. Pretty Tarot cards. Wish I knew what to do with a tarot deck. But then again, I'm the kind of person who would push the glass around on a ouija board just because someone's got to be doing it. So maybe me and tarot cards aren't such a good idea...

Yay! More apoca-fic! *happy dance* ;)

(And thanks. Now that I've written one, I have got to write another one with original characters. It's a moral imperative. *eg*)

;) Now if I had as many people on my friends list as you do, I'd so do a pic spam ( I was thinking about Catwoman players the other day...) but for now I have mostly comms so I can wait.

(Oh totally! There's just so many things you could do)

And Eee gahds, only three months till Serenity!

I see you decided to channel me and my reading tarot for everyone's character.

Interesting, isn't it?

Downright freaky. I tried for the Monsters of Moosic characters and it worked perfectly. :)
