So, let's see -- this weekend I have to pick up printer ink so that I can print out Monsters of Moosic for yet another edit and what I've got done of The Walking Dead of Wilkes-Barre for plotting tweaks, aaaaaaaand I've also got to copy Veronica Mars and Doctor Who to take to my brother when I go to visit at the end of the month, aaaaaaaand I've got to go buy my bus ticket for the trip, aaaaaaaaand I've got to clean my bedroom, aaaaaaaaaand I've got to do laundry, aaaaaaaaand I've got to go see Fantastic Four and write what I can already tell will be a very, VERY snarky review. And I've got to do all of that on Saturday, so that I'll have Sunday free for drinks with ladybug218, The 4400, and hopefully starting on the post-apocalyptic novel. (Which is tentatively titled Dead End, because ... well, because. Fits, doesn't it?)

In other news, that plotbunny in my head for a slashy Doctor Who/Firefly crossover with Jayne and Captain Jack can just SHUT UP NOW. (Although, as always, the gun-laden gay porn in my head can continue. Oh, can it ever. *swoons*)

Just because it's the apocalypse doesn't mean it's the end of the world.

I love how the Yahoo Movies guy reviewed FF and spent the whole time whining about how it was silly and over-the-top and how much The Incredibles kicked its ass. These are the same people who called Batman Begins too serious. BATMAN IS SUPPOSED TO BE SERIOUS AND THE FANTASTIC FOUR ARE SUPPOSED TO BE SILLY. THEY'RE THE FANTASTIC FUCKING FOUR.

Needless to say, the second the reviewer said the movie felt like it needed the old "WHAMMO!" and "BAP!" bubbles from the old Batman TV series, I was doubly convinced that I must give this film my money. So that's what I'm doing tomorrow. :3
