Links, just 'cause ...
Aug. 17th, 2005 12:41 pmSix young actresses who deserve more mainstream stardom. Like the writer of the article points out, it's hard to pick just six talented actresses who should get bigger roles, but they certainly picked six I can agree with.
Insultingly Stupid Movie Physics -- Neat, if you actually know physics. (Which I don't, at least not very well, but I was still amused.) Read the reviews and find out how insultingly stupid your favorite action movie really is. :)
Movie-A-Minute -- Which hasn't been updated in a few years, as far as I can tell, but it's still pretty funny. (It links to Books-A-Minute, too, which if you read a lot and haven't looked it over is hysterical.)
Biology of B-Movie Monsters -- Oh, I so have to sit down and read this when I get a chance. I wasn't even a science nerd in high school, for crying out loud.
Raging Fred -- The Flintstones dubbed over with Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci from "Raging Bull".
So You've Decided To Be Evil -- Decided? I never decided a damn thing. ;)
Guess the Dictator or TV Character -- You pretend, they guess. You can kill hours doing this. :)

Date: 2005-08-17 05:20 pm (UTC)Oh, me too. But they need to hire a fact-checker or two over there at msnbc. See below, from the last section of the article:
Hollywood being Hollywood, you knew that by the end of “Pirates of the Caribbean,” Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow would have to end up with Keira Knightley's Elizabeth. But for just a moment, didn't you want to see him pair up with Zoe Saldana's Anamaria? She was, after all, the one pirate who could tell Cap'n Jack where to stick his mainsail.
Yes, isn't it sad how we all walked into that movie knowing that Elizabeth Swann would end up with Jack Sparrow, and how unsurprised we all were when that did, indeed happen?
No?

Date: 2005-08-17 05:22 pm (UTC)But Gabrielle Union is still considered B-list? For seriously? She had meaty rolls in about six movies over the course of the last year and a half! She has a Nuetragena commercial, for crying out loud! She's beautiful and she's talented, and I really don't see her starving any time soon.
