Aw, what the heck? The new meme in town ...

The object of the game is to stump the person writing the journal. I've been writing in my live journal since summer 2003, and can't possibly remember all the topics I've talked about in that time. Your job, if you choose to accept it, is to go into the archives of my journal and pull out a random quote, only from public posts, and then my job will be to see if I can remember what I was talking about.

I promise not to cheat, but you will have to just trust me on that.

You tell me if I'm remotely right or wrong. Please don't pick a quote that's so random that it could apply to anything, like "feh" or "Damn it!" or something equally general. Pick something that might actually be about something.

*snerk* This should be amusing.

You know what I could use? A guy who comes with a remote control.

Okay, so maybe any T-shirt he owns that rides up and shows off his abs when he enthusiastically yells "YES!" can stay.

ACK ... um, the only thing I can think off is maybe I was referring to Captain Asshat and a mute button. *is drawing a complete blank*

Ooo, ooo! Isn't that about Chris from Charmed? I think I said that after the episode where he was conceived.

More like a delightfully lust-ridden Hugh Jackman with an Irish accent.

(and if those ever come to market, I'm getting one too)

I'm lazy, so I'm linking to the entry as I copy-paste it. This way, once you guess it (and you're on the honor system not to click until I say so!), I can just click the link to see if I'm right.

Because as we all know, all gay people do is catch AIDS and die. *nods solemnly*

No clicking, now.

Why do I think that was about something stupid I heard on the Bill O'Reilly show? (As opposed to something smart I heard on the Factor, which happens once upon a never ...)

*checks link*

Aw, maaaan.

Oh, God ... *racks brain* ... it was something about fanfic. I think it was about those stories where suddenly everybody in a fandom is gay.

*checks link*

Hrm. Well, I was kinda right. (I think I might just suck at this. Heh. :))

Oooh I'm game but can't quite do it now (at work!). I am also going to try and get the most recent pullquote you would feasibly remember but won't for the sheer evility of it. I'm Vegas like that.

All right, gonna reverse the meme for a moment, if I may...

Was it you who posted about the actors from Lost getting together to read fanfic, or am I on crack? I mentioned it to a friend, who so did not believe me, so I wanted to make sure it was you before I read through all of your 2004 entries...;)

(LJSeek, work like it should? NEVAH.)

Yes, I did. I don't know if he still is, but Jorge was going online and printing off fanfic, and then the cast were having dinner together and reading fanfic to one another. And the rule was that if the story was about you, you had to read it.

God, I hope they're still doing it. Any problems I might have with the show are overshadowed by the fact that I adore a cast that does something like that. :)

(And in any event, Jorge's on the Fuselage a LOT. I spazzed out that one time because I wrote a nice comment to him there and I mentioned Five Things and he asked for a link. :))

Ah-ha! I found it! (After most of the morning, but since your entries are extremely amusing, it was all right.)

is the link.

You gotta adore a cast like that, indeed. And apparently, they are just as awesome on the DVDs. *now really wants her disk of extras back*

Also, Five Things is an excellent choice for Jorge to read! I adore that 'fic to pieces, and it is damn, damn good. Yay you!
