I'm in the middle of downloading the Christmas Invasion. Let's see if it actually works this time. *crosses fingers* It didn't work when I tried before, and just for fun, my Word program now seems to not be working anymore, probably since the computer blew up. Well, that's just lovely. It's asking me for the product key, which I don't have anymore, and it won't take the one Belarc gave me. Because it hates me, don't you know. *headdesk*

I swear to God, as soon as I get a new computer, I'm taking this one out in the middle of a field and going Office Space on its ass. My dad's got a sledgehammer. I could have fun with this.

Well, hell, if all else fails, it's off to my parents's house to use my brother's computer.

EDIT: I've been driven by the urge to sew something all week long. I've spent the past couple of hours watching the SGA marathon on Sci-Fi and I want to make a copy of Teyla's long coat so freaking bad. (It would probably help if I knew how to sew without the benefit of a pattern.)

Awwww, I have no good pictures of my chincilla, because he won't sit still long enough, though I haven't tried recently. He looks a lot like yours, though.

Dude, tell me about it. Watching him take a dust bath makes me all giddy. Of course, he LOVES that plastic bathhouse, so I've taken to just leaving it in there. Whatever keeps him from making that nervous whimpering noise, however cute it may be.

Awww. Mine makes a sound like dying squeaky toy when he's lonely -- which is usually at 3am.

If you let him take lots of baths, keep an eye on the backs of his ears. Mine got kind of a build-up of the dust-based residue there, I think because he tends to put his head down and roll ear first. The vet told me to scrape it off with my thumbnail, which was a harrowing experience for the both of us.

A Chinchilla is also a breed of cat -- probably named for the animal. Very cute, either way.
