I know they haven't mentioned next of kin, so I'm thinking for all practical purposes he is alone. And all I know about treatment is that the first time *we* see him is not the first time he's been there for his heart and Burke seemed to be on a first name basis with him. Obviously he hasn't been there since Izzie began her internship, however, so it's probably been a year at least since he was last treated.

has he been on G'sA more than once? because if he has...i obviously have to start watching this show...i mean...really...if Izzie and the oher doctor guy she used to be doing arent enough reason...
