Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] gehayi, because I love this kind of stuff.

Rec-Go-Round: Rec me one story you've written that you're proud of, any genre, here on my LJ.

Then go forth and ask the same in yours.

(This reminds me of a link I followed earlier to [livejournal.com profile] cesperanza's post on mentally rating your fics according to baseball terms, which sounds kind of weird and yet totally works for me.)

My favorite of mine

Dangerous (http://www.allaboutspike.com/fic.html?id=363). S/B, Season 6, post-Get It Done. Very, very dark. Synopsis? "Don't invoke what you can't dispel".

Oh, fun! Also, hard. But I think I'm going to have to go with the Kanecest.

Twisted Up In You (Duncan/Lilly, NC-17, pre-series)

I think I'm going to go with Blooming Cactus (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2737712/1/). Firefly, Jayne/Zoe post-BDM, kind of pre-ship.

Hmm. I'd say the story I'm most proud of is Color of Music which is twisted, post-Serenity Simon/River/Jayne. I'm probably most proud of it because it was so damn hard to write, but I did it anyway. ^_^

Oh my fucking god.

WOW.

wow.wow.wow.wow.wow.

::bows to you both::

Yeah, I like this one. :)

Divination; PG 13, Ginny/Luna.

For some reason it just worked.

and because I couldn't really decide, here's Reputation, R, Draco/Ron (drabble), too, because I'm proud of it -- it's a pairing I'd ordinarily never write, especially from Draco's perspective, and I was challenged and like it.

At the moment, the story I'd like to rec is You And You Can See, Wilson/House, R, very AU. I wanted to do something I'd never seen before, and I think I managed to pull it off.

The one I'm proudest of these days is Turn of the Earth (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=sarah531&keyword=dr+who+fic+series:+turn+of+the+earth&filter=all). It's Doctor Who, but...without the Doctor. There are many main characters in it, though. :D

This is kinda cool cause I get to read lots of other peoples stuff ;)

My fave that I've written is Drowning, With You which is a McShep with Character Death - it managed to do exactly what I wanted and it's sweet and evocative ...

off to read more!

The Difference Between A Rule And A Law. Prison Break, Michael and Lincoln. Pre-Series, fucked-upness. I don't really like it a lot but it seems to be a fan-favorite.

You don't know me, but I'm here because [personal profile] clex_monkie89 wouldn't rec one of hers unless I recced one of mine, mostly because we're both big chickens.

God, I can only pick one? This wouldn't be so hard if I didn't write so darn much.

I'm pathetic. I'll do one for each genre:

Prison Break: The Arrangment (http://www.livejournal.com/users/halfshellvenus/1522.html), a nine-chapter series that kicked off alllll of the Lincoln/Michael brothercest in this fandom.

Supernatural: Whispers From The Edge of Sleep (http://halfshellvenus.livejournal.com/31341.html) (Supernatural Gen), subliminal, surreal, dream-based.

You've got a lot of diverse friends here-- so many fandoms!

Thank goodness [livejournal.com profile] clex_monkie89 pointed me over here for your very first ever SN story. *Happy sigh*
