I can't remember what power he had, empathy maybe? Because apparently empaths can tap into other people's powers.
that would be a good explanation for Dean's necklace -- that it wards off demon possession -- but remember back in "Phantom Traveller" when Sam told Dean he needed to calm down or the demon would possess him? Dude, do you know ANY women who go to bed in white nightdresses? Now this is something that have been bothering me since day one. What's up with that? Specially because when Dean first showed up what Jess was wearing was way different from a nightgown.
