apocalypsosHey, guess what I just saw? (Granted, I missed the first half-hour, but STILL.)
First off, how sad is it that baby Isabelle was a better actress than grown Isabelle?
No, really. I mean, Megalyn's gorgeous, I'll give her that, but come on. And the thing is that I still like Isabelle and what she represents and the thought of what a possible hookup with Shawn could mean, but I can't STAND the actress. I don't get the bit where she's portraying Isabelle as having so little emotion. I know she was a baby, but ... the hell?! Even baby Isabelle was more emotional than that. If this were fanfic, I'd be calling a Mary Sue, although granted, that's more the character than Megalyn. (Note to self -- it's not spelled "Isabadactress.")
And yet, still shipping Shawn/Isabelle. I don't even get my brain.
On the other hand, I know Shawn was hot before, but daaaaaaamn. He just keeps getting yummier, honest to God. And good for him for turning in TJ Kim, but boy, is that going to bite him in the ass.
Kevin -- crazy, degenerating, CRAZY, lovable Kevin.
Aw, poor Maia. But yay for the fact that she apparently likes Marco, and the three of them play board games, and then she tries to make him feel better by saying Diana likes him better, and of course Diana likes him better than (I presume) Kevin, because Marco is FIVE KINDS OF AWESOME.
Matthew creeped me out last season, but this season he's practically walking slime. Although you'll forgive me if I got a guilty pick-me-up from him slapping Isabelle.
Alana continues to be gorgeous beyond comprehension. Especially when she's wearing red. PRETTY.
The Nova group storyline is ... eh, I don't know. I mean, I kind of like it, but at the same time, isn't two groups with ulterior motives enough? We don't know what the higher-ups in NTAC are planning half of the time, the 4400 Center siphoned enough info from tiny Isabelle (I'm guessing that's where Matthew got his info of what she's meant to do) where they could have tons of secrets and it wouldn't be a surprise, and don't even get me started on the Powers That Will Be. And now we have a terrorist group? Urgh.
Oh, Lily. I'd feel more depressed about her death, I suppose, if it didn't mean we don't have Supermom around anymore now. Oh, well. More Marco/Diana?
Also, that "Characters welcome" commercial with Monk and Shawn makes me a special kind of giggly. (Why can't more of my fandoms do crossover commercials?)
Anyway, I have to leave for the zoo at six in the morning and I haven't even had any sleep tonight. Damn it, and I wanted to write story notes for the nice long SPN fic I want to work on in the car. Now I'll probably just pass out as soon as my butt hits the passenger seat. *sigh*
