The main guy is the son of a cop who was trained from an early age to have a photographic memory and amazing observational skills. Instead of becoming a cop, though, he's a slacker who occasionally calls in tips on crimes when he spots clues on news reports the cops never figured out. During one such tip, the cops think he was in on the crime, so to cover his ass, he claims he's a psychic and somehow stumbles into working on a case with the cops. Then he drags his best friend along for the ride.
It's really funny and clever, although here's hoping the concept holds up, and the leads have great chemistry together. :)
