I'm stressing the hell out of myself for no fucking reason.

I wonder how much I would lose at life if I totally went up to my parents's house and boosted a couple of Smirnoffs. Quite a lot, I imagine.

The only thing I've accomplished in the past two days is driving to pretty much every library in the area, trying to get the computer to run faster, trying to avoid cleaning my apartment, cleaning the keyboard of my AlphaSmart, and attempting not to strangle common sense into people through the Internet.

Meanwhile, I have nowhere to go and no money to get there for the next two weeks.

In real life, this is usually where I'd say, "On the bright side ...", but ...

Hmm.

*sighs*

Oh, yeah, I'm getting a nice fat check, half of which is my rent and the other half is getting my laptop out of layaway hell. I'll have maybe a hundred bucks left over for the next two weeks, if that. It's not like I'll be starving or anything, I'll just be bored and at home.

I could hold out and get the laptop next week, but with the way the desktop is working right now, I'd rather just bring my new baby home. *covets*

Well, not exactly. I've got gas money and grocery money until my next paycheck, I just don't have money for recreation or anything. Heck, if it's a choice between not going out and having the laptop or going out with my friends and getting frustrated by the crappy desktop until my next paycheck, I'll take the lack of a social life.
