Jacked from [livejournal.com profile] wickedripeplum, 'cause I'm bored out of my ever-lovin' skull.

1. Your name spelled backwards.
Eseratam Refinnej. Ick. It's not much better backwards than it is forwards.

2. Where were your parents born?
My dad in Brooklyn, my mom in New Jersey (Ridgefield Park, I think).

3. What is the last thing you downloaded onto your computer?
Punjabi dance music. You want something with a good beat to dance to? Look up "Darshan" by B21 from the "Bend It Like Beckham" soundtrack. I love that freaking song. :)

4. What's your favorite restaurant?
As sad as it is, Burger King.

5. Last time you swam in a pool?
This summer, the weekend before Labor Day.

6. Have you ever been in a school play?
Nope. When I was in high school, I was totally a shy, introverted wallflower. (Hey, stop laughing! I'm serious!)

7. How many kids do you want?
One or two would be nice, but I'd rather adopt than give birth. Hell, there are enough kids out there who need good homes, and if it means I don't have to expel another human being out of any of my bodily orifices, I am all for it.

8. Type of music you dislike most?
Hard-core rap and polka. Which, by the way, is the only time you'll be seeing those two genres grouped together ever.

9. Are you registered to vote?
I wasn't even into politics until the Bush administration began. I'm not registering this year, but only because I just moved to the area and I'm not about to just go in uninformed and just pick at random, basically.

10. Do you have cable?
Yup.

11. Have you ever ridden on a moped?
Uh, no.

12. Ever prank call anybody?
No, although after the telemarketing job, I was sorely tempted to.

13. Ever get a parking ticket?
Yes, unfortunately. I'm usually better at getting speeding tickets, though.

14. Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving?
No. I have no desire to jump out of a perfectly good airplane, and since I'm slightly afraid of heights and twice as afraid of bridges, bunjee jumping's out. (I used to be absolutely terrified of heights. Now, I've moved past that and am afraid of tunnels, bridges, and floods. Yes, further excursions into the land of total fucking lunacy are just what I need. ;))

16. Do you have a garden?
God, no.

17. What's your favorite comic strip?
Get Fuzzy. Being raised with Siamese cats, that strip just hits waaaaay too close to home.

18. Do you really know all the words to your national anthem?
*sings to herself* Wow, I do. Huh. Imagine that.

19. Bath or Shower, morning or night?
Usually a shower at night, but I like to take long baths in the wintertime.

20. Best movie you've seen in the past month?
Lost in Translation. Bill Murray is the shit. I've already issued my threat to the Academy regarding his Best Actor nomination, so they've been warned.

21. Favorite pizza topping?
Mushrooms. Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of big-ass, thick-cut, fried mushrooms.

22. Chips or popcorn?
Popcorn.

23. What color lipstick do you usually wear?
Pink-peachy type.

24. Have you ever smoked peanut shells?
Uh, no. Why would I?

25. Have you ever been in a beauty pageant?
No. Wouldn't really want to, either.

26. Orange Juice or apple?
Orange juice. I never used to like either all that much, but in the past few months I've just had orange juice cravings every once in a while. (And no, I'm not pregnant. Not unless God took me up on my offer and we've got another virgin conception on our hands.)

27. Who was the last person you went out to dinner with and where did you dine?
Jeez, I can't remember. I think it was the Japanese restaurant with Jean Marie, [livejournal.com profile] tree220, and [livejournal.com profile] qnotku.

28. Favorite type of chocolate bar?
What, I have to pick one?! Okay, fine. Nestle's Cookies and Cream.

29. When was the last time you voted at the polls?
Never. I'm a naughty, naughty American! *slaps her own hands so you don't have to do it for me*

30. Last time you ate a homegrown tomato?
Um, ewwwwwwwww. Tomatos aren't interesting until they've reached sauce or ketchup stage.

31. Have you ever won a trophy?
Well, about six or seven showing our cats at amateur locals pet shows. They're neutered, so it's not like I could have shown them at real shows, but it was nice when we were kids.

32. Are you a good cook?
Good enough.

33. Do you know how to pump your own gas?
Yes, but I can't check my oil or put more in, and I can barely change a tire, so I'm even.

34. Ever order an article from an infomercial?
Yes, when I was a kid, I used to love infomercials. I used to get up early for school just so I could spend the last half four before I had to leave watching those ones with the nerdy geek with the Bill Cosby sweaters.

35. Sprite or 7-up?
7-Up.

36. Have you ever had to wear a uniform to work? how about school?
I worked at Burger King, so yeah.

37. Last thing you bought at a pharmacy?
Hair dye, Pepsi and pumpkin seeds.

38. Ever throw up in public?
No. God only knows why, but I'm very, very good about getting to a toilet first.

39. Would you prefer being a millionaire or find true love?
True love. Even if at this point I could probably use the million. Yeah, like any of you couldn't. ;P

40. Do you believe in love at first sight?
Yes, but for me personally? I'm not sure.

41. Ever call a 1-900 number?
No.

42. Can ex's be friends?
Yes, but it seriously depends on the ex.

43. Who was the last person you visited in a hospital?
My aunt when she had my cousin Erin this summer.

44. Did you have a lot of hair when you were a baby?
Nope. I was born with thick brown hair, which fell out soon after and regrew in light, wispy blond. Then I got older and my mom went with pigtails. Think Bubbles from the Powerpuff Girls. I've got dozens of pictures of me as a child where I look just like that.

45. What did you eat today?
Lots and lots of Pepsi, spaghetti, popcorn, pretzels, pumpkin seeds, and Cheetos. (Yes, my healthy diet of champions, ladies and gents.)

46. What's your all time favorite Saturday Night Live Character?
Wayne and Garth. God, don't ask me why.

47. What was the name of your first pet?
Well, I had salamanders and chameleons and stuff, but since cats were our main pets, I'd have to say Oliver. My mom said I could have a kitten for my birthday when I was 13, and she asked me what kind. I said as far from a Siamese as she could get, which wasn't far considering she bought me a Himalayan. He was a sweetheart and a really gorgeous cat, but he was kind of a snob. Although he did do this really cool thing once when a bat got loose in our house and everybody else was freaking out around him -- he just calmly leapt up in midair and caught it in his mouth. I wish I could have seen it.

48. What is in your purse?
Everything. And I mean everything. You know Mary Poppins' carpetbag? Ain't got nothing on me and my purses.

49. Favorite thing to do before bedtime?
Read or masturbate, there's not really much else to do. (I think I'll steal [livejournal.com profile] wickedripeplum's answer for this one.)

50. What is one thing you are grateful for today?
When I finally got the hell away from work and comfortably ensconced in a theater seat with popcorn and a soda.
