Yay! I got the Katie-and-puppy icon I wanted. SCORE.

Anybody want any icons of anything from that third challenge, while I'm at it? :)

I think there needs to be an Ein-Shtein icon!

OH MY GOD. That is possibly the best icon I have seen in *months*.

That was like my second most favorite shot from the episode, right after Katie and the high five with her puppy. :)

And I can totally get that for you, just as soon as the first episode downloads. God knows I want an icon of Michael's coffee filter dress like CRAZY. (They are not giving that boy nearly enough praise, I swear, although he is getting the Daniel V. edit, so I'm hoping that points towards Michael being around for a while.)

I. Okay, I really like Uli. Which I was expecting not to, for reasons unknown. And then she goes and pulls off that *incredible* dress in the print that Tim said could only have been pulled off by Diane von Furstenburg, and. Yeah. But her relationship with her dog was what sealed it for me. I like her, okay!

Dude, Michael's clothes are amazing -- re: the dress from this past ep, I thought the only thing better than the criscross neck-to-chest area was the exactly perfect and sweeping fit of the back. He knows and loves a woman's body, and it shows.

How awesome was it that Robert's dog was called Chanel? ♥

Also: thank you! That would be awesome :)

The only thing that's bothering me about Uli right now is that we've had three episodes and she's done almost the same dress for all three. Not that it's not a gorgeous dress -- they've all been beautiful -- but I really want to see her try something NOT a halter dress. C'mon, Uli, I know you have it in you! *cheers*

Michael's dress ... the crisscrossing and the back and those pleats in the hem. *swoons* And I adore how happy he looks when he sees his stuff going down the runway. It's like, "YAY! Look what I did!"

And, SO AWESOME. It was so perfect. That comment from Jeffrey about how everybody picked themselves as a dog was right on target. Even Laura had herself as a dog, and she didn't even pick hers.

I'd be happy if Uli put in some kind of support for the girls when she thinks up her designs. Her dress for the Miss USA/Universe challenge was sooooo bad in the boobage area.

You know, since she's always working in a different fabric, I didn't even notice that. Huh. Though she *has* changed up the styling of the dress from the neck down -- the back of this most recent dress, for example, with the four divergent strips of fabric, which I thought was really cool-looking. But yeah, if she does a halter dress for the next challenge again, it may be time to look into labeling her a one-note.

Michael is awesome. And you're right -- he's totally getting the Daniel V. edit. Let's hope it's for the best.

Do you listen to Tim's podcasts? He talked all about the dogs, and it was great :D

You know, I didn't even know it was made of coffee filters until I read Tim Gunn's blog? I mean, I'm sure it got mentioned in the show, but it had to have been sort of passingly. He does seem weirdly neglected.

I think Kayne mentioned it right before he said it looked soft and like it would smell like Febreze, which is one of my favorite quotes of the season so far. :)

It's a good sign that they're neglecting Michael now, though. They always focus on the ones who'll be out shortly more in the beginning of the season. Look at Daniel V. and Chloe last season -- we really didn't get a good look at them until they filtered out all of the others.

Dude, I'm more of a cat person than a dog person, but that episode was KILLING me with the cute. Little dogs full of personality all over the damn place! *flails*

Such cute moment. Project Rungay has a cute pic up of Angela's dog. If looks could kill.

Isn't it nice to know that even Pattycake knew her designer is an idiot? ("Pattycake was born in the spring"? GAH. My mother's obsessed with her cats, and she's never even sounded THAT goofy.)

I love that she was crazy enough to think up Pattycake's story/background. I don't recall if even Vincent was that crazy.

I hope and wish the theories on next episode's ousting re: Angela are more true than they are for the other designers. *crosses fingers* I can't take anymore rosettes and bubble skirts and combat boots w/ skirts. All that was popular in what... 1990?

Oh, if anything about Angela's story and Angela's outfit had jived at ALL, I might have forgiven her for that monstrosity. Might.

I have a terrifying feeling she wrote a novel about it. *shudders*

And ... there are Angela theories? Really? What are the Angela theories? Because I've heard Keith, Michael, Bradley, Alison, Vincent, and Jeffrey theories, but no Angela theories. *crosses fingers* (I'm just impressed and amazed that no one's gotten a solid spoiler for just what the hell the infraction is yet.)

*reads the interview with Robert they posted*

The last two question responses are the best:

What’s the reaction been like since the show began?
Unbelievable. I had no idea how popular the show was. I love the show now that I've been on it. Literally, and it sounds like a joke, I've had people scream out of car windows. It's amazing. And it’s not just men who want to sleep with me. It's women. It's children. It's small farm animals. It's great to be involved with something that has such a positive effect on people. And hopefully it's great exposure.

What’s the biggest fashion faux pas a guy can make?
One of them is tanning. Over-tanning to the point you look like an Oopma Loompa—and this is for men and women. You see this in the gym ad nauseum. When your skin starts to resemble an orange pleather handbag, you need to step away from the Mystic Tanning hose. It's near criminal. Another one is—especially in gay men—wearing clothes that are so tight and painted on. Like T-shirts that look like they were made for someone else. Wear your fucking size. Or wear clothes that are a little bit roomy. It's OK. All your hours at the gym are appreciated. Otherwise we don't want to see your puffy-ass body in a Baby Gap T-shirt.

Robert has this catty persona that so far we've seen only glimpses of. I don't know if it's because he's a shy person or they just don't give him alot of screen time because he isn't a shit-stirrer. I can't wait to see if the powers that be give him more screen time, preferably with Kayne since they tend to play off each other so well. He really cracks me up!

Robert is the BEST. Every episode he says something that just cracks my shit right the hell up. It's the delivery -- the man's got this great dry wit and some fabulous comic timing going on. Plus, the faces he makes sometimes don't hurt. ;)

You know the funny thing? I have this urge to write Kayne-and-Robert-hanging-out fic. Not even shippy fic at ALL, just ... you know, the two of them, standing around and playing off one another. They're such a snarky old married couple.
