Having seen The Descent in the company of the son of one of its chief sound engineers and thus having not been allowed to point out its many flaws due to him being vehemently in favour of it, I vote that and hope that the resulting snark helps heal the pain I still feel from it.
The Descent wasn't scary, but it was slightly bloody and a lot of fun, in that cheesy horror kind of way. (Which, personally, is my favorite kind of fun.) I'd pay to see it a second time in theaters, which is rare for me, but I really liked the characters.
YAYE!The Descent is WINNING. I cannot stress that movie ENOUGH. It is scary and grisly and OH SO WONDERFUL. And I'm not a big scary movie fan. Heck I was tense during When a Stranger Calls.
Plus the Descent is HOPEFULLY going to give you plot bunnies. And that's an added bonus for me.
