Note to self: When you go out to buy makeup and you have to buy the very, VERY lightest shades of foundation and powder, you might need a little sun. (Actually, I shouldn't because of the whole mom-had-skin-cancer thing, but on the other hand, sweet Jesus dipped in chocolate and doused in sprinkles, I'm fucking pale, y'all.)

*snerks* I was looking at one of those charts by the make-up aisle. The one where you put the chart to your skin to find a match for your complexion?

And I scored a one. As in Ivory. It amused me until I realized I have a very pink complexion so I should just by the green stuff.

yeah. well. during the summer i was holding one of the babies i work with. she was about 11 months old. pale as paper. then i noticed "hey...she's tanner than me!"

shes a year old now though. still very pale. probably still tanner than me.

and i used to tan up real nice. i would be red for not even a day and then id be dark. now im lucky if my burn goes away.

I know the feeling... often the lightest shade for me is still too dark...

Screw "ivory" - I need to be looking for paint colors - like "eggshell", or "antique white"...
