I keep seeing commercials for The Nine calling it the most anticipated new show of the year. That's funny, I barely know anyone at all waiting up for it.

Yet another Project Runway scandal. Spoilers for the finale, although the outcome of said scandal is still a mystery. I think I adore this season. (Spoilers for the article in the comments.)

Fred Phelps is going to bring his goons to protest at the funerals of the little Amish girls who were shot this week and blamed them for bringing it on themselves. How the hell does he even say stuff like this and still manage to stand upright?

Meanwhile, more than once the O'Reilly Factor has referred to Republican sexual miscreant Mark Foley as a Democrat. Yeah, maybe if they say it over and over again, it'll come true. *eye roll* And now there's the "Oh, I was drunk when I sent those IMs, so it's not like it's my normal behavior!" excuse, which ... well, come on, I don't know about the rest of you, but when I get drunk I lose my inhibitions and behave even more like a goofball.

I have to take my mom's cat to the vet's tonight. *grumbles* On the plus side (I think), overtime got cancelled.

I want remix fics, man. Waaaaaaant.

Brainwashed, most likely. If you search around on the net, you can find the bio of one of his sons, which wasn't published because Phelps was gonna sue, or some such. But he seems to have been an evil, sadistic, abusive bastard since forever, so the kids still with him are probably pretty thoroughly Stockholmed.

The man(Phelps,) makes me almost physically ill!! (stops and listens to the rain falling outside.)
It was bad enough that his group would choose to attempt to desecrate the funeral of a local soldier who was killed in Iraq this past summer, but to do this?! How can someone calling themself a Christian,and claiming to be the representative of God and Jesus, be so full of hate and fear as to pervert the Allmighty's message of love and compassion for your fellow human being?
I'm sorry, I usually don't discuss my personal beliefs in such a public forum, but this entire event has shaken me to the core, and I've been trying to avoid watching too much news because of it. I'm not neurotic, just very tired, and having a difficult time processing it all. I apologize again if I've offended anyone.
