I'm getting a cat from the foster care system.

Or at least, that's what my mother says. Heh. :)

So I got to leave work a couple of hours early last night, which means that I got to start my loooooong weekend a little earlier. YAY! *flails* Then I came home and slept for two whole hours before getting back up for shopping. So now I have a few new shirts, a new notebook, hair dye, and candy for the road trip.

For the record, the total amount of candy I'm bringing? From Gertrude Hawk, I picked up strawberry poppers, cinnamon apple dreams, rum truffles, pumpkin pie smidgens, white chocolate raspberry truffles (which may have to be pried from my claws ... GRRR), and marshmallow chocolates in one bag (none of them have nuts in them, but they make them on machines that make candy with nuts, so I figured better safe than sorry and am keeping them separate), and in the other bag, two pounds of Swedish fish and, in Jensen's name, two and a half pounds of gummi bears.

HEEEE. Hope everybody's got a sweet tooth. ;)

I'm horribly tempted to dip into them today, because last night at work I learned that Halloween is an evil day and Target doesn't support our troops or our government (... ooo-kay) and I think I ground my poor teeth down to nothing trying desperately not to start an argument.

And now to go put minutes on my phone for the con.
