On one hand, I'm annoying at the props department or set decorators or whoever put it there because anyone who knows true crime well enough to know the story of H. H. Holmes is going to recognize that photo, and it wasn't like there weren't more than one photo of a murder victim from the turn of the century they could have used.
On the other hand, not a lot of photographic evidence of any kind to use with Holmes, so there's not much to use in the way of props for the guy.
(Also, the actor who plays him doesn't look like H. H. Holmes. Less beard, more waxed mustache.)
