Hilariously awful ...

apocalypsosYup, that's how I'd describe the episode of CSI Miami I'm watching right now, and it's not even five minutes into it. But the redeeming factor is that Sean Maher is in it looking very hot, so I've got that going for me. Oh, and look! Maggie Grace is in this one, too. Heh. (It's about spring break. I never actually went on spring break once. This is like when I watch movies with scenes set at a prom, yet another rite of passage I skipped out on.)
BSG is almost totally downloaded onto my Zen. Wheeeeee! God knows when I'll get to watch it but at least I have it, which is a start.
So my dad found a nice used car for me, which is cool. My mother dragged me off to look at it, although why is beyond me since so far all I've been able to say is, "Looks good," and my parents seem to be the one shooting the car down or picking it out. Eh, whatever. It runs, it works for me. I'm not picky. I'll get picky when I can actually afford a shiny new car, although I probably won't know much more about cars then. So hopefully I can get it on my days off, although affording it is another matter.
I've also gotten a chance to see this week's Grey's Anatomy, too. When did I start being annoyed by Izzie and George and liking Derek and Meredith? Was it when Izzie wouldn't stop whining about how little she got to do during her second chance after killing a guy (and I loved her and Denny and her-and-Denny, but COME ON)? Was it when George would stop being a bitch about everything (and okay, granted, he's got some reason to be, but SOME, not ALL)? And when did Derek and Meredith get so cute, even though I still want to punch Derek in the face because the part where he called Meredith a whore after ripping himself away from her sex life and driving her up a wall emotionally?
I currently only like three characters without reservation, and that's Bailey, Addison and Alex. And the sooner Addison and Alex start engaging in the very baaaaaad idea that would be any affair that could occur between them, the better. Also, Alex, BECOME A BABY-MOMMY DOCTOR. You'd be good at it, damn it.
