Yeah, but when your choice of answers are ones you haven't gotten and crappy ones, some of us turn bitter REALLY fast. I don't like watching a TV show where Occam's Razor doesn't seem to exist. Nearly every single answer that's been given is as far from simple as possible and it doesn't come off as realistic that every single answer is complicated with five thousand theories to go with it.
I mean, you can construct a fake reality for a TV show and still have it feel realistic. Buffy, Angel, Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica (I assume because of the fan reaction, even though I haven't gotten to watch it yet) ... all of them feel real even though their realities can't exist in this time and place, mostly due to how normal the characters behave, just like people you can believe exist. I don't believe in the characters on Lost because they feel like characters. There's too many coincidental connections, too many behaviors and reactions that don't make sense, and everybody's got these hugely complicated backstories.
