I usually don't post meme quizzes anymore, but ... well, really, that's just funny, y'all.

You know the Bible 82%!

Wow! You are truly a student of the Bible! Some of the questions were difficult, but they didn't slow you down! You know the books, the characters, the events . . . Very impressive!

What, no questions about Jesus' best friend Biff? COME ON.

Okay, back to The Vampires of Vandling. I want to get today's seven hundred and fifty words written now so I can write fic later.

Okay, questions about Biff would have been hilarious. Just sayin.

I really have to dig that book up and read it again. I've laughed at few things in my life as hard as I did at the trick with the dead lizard in the beginning of the book.

"I want to do that!"
"Which part?"

*snickers*

I have rarely laughed at anything as hard as I did at a number of things in that book. I kept waking people up with the cackling. Heh.

Heh. I got a 72, and only by the luck that "Good Omens" wasn't an option anywhere.

Glad you posted your results, that was kinda fun.

Hm. I got 92%, despite the fact that I haven't so much as glanced at a bible in about five years. Guess that church school education was good for something, then?

Huh... and I don't even own a bible.

I got 74%. Dude, go figure.

88% here, and some of the answers are just absurd. *snicker* (for yea, the crowd of multitudes hungered, and thus spake Jesus: "Party on, dudes, let's have pizza!")

He just didn't say that because Jesus was orthodox, and meat and cheese or chicken and cheese on a pizza? SO not kosher. We won't even discuss anchovies. And at the same time he knew that not everyone would want the vegetarian option. Plus the whole problem of tomatoes not having been discovered yet, and what's a pizza without tomato sauce?

It was just simpler to go with the high-carb, high-protein diet of the loaves and fishes. Even if the food lacked fiber...well, in a crowd of five thousand people sitting in one place for hours, that could only be a GOOD thing. [/tongue-in-cheek]

P.S. I got 100% on the test. Twelve years of religion classes finally paid off.

Heee! I love that book so much!

I've often said that if Christianity was more like Christopher Moore's version, I might not be pagan.

Buddhist, 95%. Go figure. I finally read "The Stupidest Angel," which was the last Christopher Moore book I hadn't read. Funny as hell, but my favorite line will always be "Jehovah is infinite in his snottiness."

All I could think of while taking the quiz was Jesus' first miracle was bringing a lizard back to life for his little brother to smash with a rock. I may have missed that question.

Gawd, y'all. That was the easiest quiz I've taken all year. And not 'cause I'm really a "True Bible Scholar," but because the questions were ridiculously easy. My results: http://okelle.livejournal.com/2007/01/21/

Thanks for a laugh on a Sunday. On which I'm not attending (UU) Sunday service because I'm doing the heathen Coming of Age group this afternoon. W00T Universalism!
