Two links:

A Christian blog sums up what clothes make women looks trampy. Here, let me sum it up for you -- pretty much everything. According to that sight, the extra-large Orangemen hoodie and baggy jeans I wear to work make me look like a slut.

And also, a Christian website's guide to bands that support gays or will turn your kids gay. No, no, it gets better -- look at the "Safe" list. Oh, and an added bonus ... a quote at the top of the page by "reformed homosexual" Oscar Wilde. Yeah, THAT Oscar Wilde. I'm trying to think of when he could possibly reformed and I believe it might have been for about five seconds during a Saturday luncheon just to give all of the pretty boys at his table a good chuckle.

Anyone feel that slight tremor in Paris? That's Wilde laughing his ass off in his own grave.

The only way Wilde could be remotely considered a "reformed" homosexual is because he spent time in prison.

I do no think that word means what they think it means.

The Indigo Girls and Elton John are on there twice. If I listen to one and not the other, do I cancel out teh ghey?

And how is Morrissey questionable?

And Frank Sinatra WTF?

I'm thinking Wilde was 'reformed' in the same way some Jews were 'converted' by Mormons - posthumously!

People are silly.

Well, that second Elton John listing does point out that he is "really gay". So gay the homosexuality can't be crammed into one line. *nods solemnly*

I like to picture Oscar Wilde sitting in Heaven with a hot young stud in his lap going, "Oh, for fuck's sake." Or probably something more erudite, considering.

Eminem is on the list of bands that will turn your kids gay. This makes no sense.

The Frank Sinatra thing is probably because he did duet recordings of some of his classic romance songs with other famous male singers. I have like five of them on one CD. It's hilarious-Frank Sinatra crooning gay romance!

Morton Subotnick will turn you gay?! Ravi Shankar?!?

Whuh?

*snicker*

Morrissey is questionable? The worldwide icon of instagay instagoths and emo kids everywhere? Well, Morrissey is kinda questionable in all kinds of ways I suppose....

Amused that Cyndi Lauper is on the safe list.

What really made me blink and giggle was the (?questionable?) by Morrissey...

I mean...

Morrissey. COME ON. SO GAY. So wonderfully, Oscar Wilde-loving gay, at that.

But Kansas? And Motorhead? Yeah, they're gay. So pro-gay.

Wow. That was amazing.

I really cannot help but love that Elton John is on there twice and the second time lists that he's "really gay".

Heh. Do they think we don't know that by now? :P

But man does it amuse me that Cydni Lauper is on the safe list.

Oh you silly silly people. *Pats on the head*

Sometimes, just sometimes there are things that are so out there that I can't just quite decide if they aren't jokes after all. (Then, most of the time, I sadly realise that these people are serious. And want to claw my brains out and scream.)

Well, there's only one solution to this problem. Clearly we're all going to have to walk around naked.

Cindy Lauper on the Safe from Gay list? AHAHAHAHA! That has to be one of the best things I have ever read.

Does no one remember her redo of Girls Just Want To Have Fun with the drag queens?! You could see the gay from space!

Frankie Goes to Hollywood

Didn't they do a song called "Relax (Don't do it)", which was a heartfelt, obviously Christian plea for teen abstinence? No?

Why is there an asterisk on Boy George? It doesn't seem to refer to anything.

Well, one of the lyrics *is*, "I don't even understand...", which the Love God's Way people obviously took to heart.
