apocalypsos: (boo misbehave)

Heh. My brother is apparently allergic to some of the inks he'd have to use at work, so they switched him to another shift and another part of the factory. The good news is that the other shift is MY shift, meaning we can carpool if we want to save on gas money. The bad news is that the other part of the factory is the only part of the factory which immediately led to me telling him, "Get another job YESTERDAY." I'm not enthused with the place where I work, but it's not the worst job I've ever had. (Seriously, how did I manage to work for six whole months as a telemarketer and not quit?) But the section they've sent him to is basically twelve straight hours of putting those cardboard covers on CDs surrounded by the dregs of the new hires.

I am seriously far behind on my [livejournal.com profile] novel_in_90 word count. *sigh* I was going to try and catch up today but I'm so tired it's not even worth trying. I have a feeling that come Tuesday I'm basically just going to try and pound out five thousand words in a day to catch up. Hell, I've done twice as much before, and it's not even worth trying to hit it during my shift.

I linked to second verse, same as the first on [livejournal.com profile] heroes_fic, took a look around (since it's the first story I've linked there), and ... heh. The number of Peter/Claire shippers doesn't surprise me at all, and God knows I ship them, too, but it's possible that I'm the only one who does while still hanging onto my theory that Nathan's her biological father. *snickers* The Wincest-writing, it's broken me.

I'm still buzzing a bit on this week's SPN. My [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_bigbang plotbunny was kind of all over the place until that ending, and then, BAM! I'm on! WOOHOO! \o/ :) (I'm amazed that there are not only people who've started their stories, but have already finished them. Wait, seriously? There's still, what, four months. ACK! *spazzes*)

EDIT: Having caught up with the parts of last night's Grey's Anatomy that I missed, I can safely say that right about now I would seriously appreciate an episode in which Bailey just walked around for the entire episode and smacked every single attending upside the head to knock some sense into their thick skulls.
