You know why my debit card got turned off?

Because some dicksmack used the numbers to try and make twelve purchases of a thousand bucks or so each with it. And I'm irresponsible with money, but God knows I'm not THAT irresponsible.

You have my sympathy. A couple of years ago, I had my debit card used to buy over $700 worth of Nazi Concentration Camp Porn (evil dom guard/poor helpless prisoner) Honestly, I wanted to see them throw the book at the guy just because he brought the existance of that crap to my attention.

That sucks. My brother just went through that. Make sure you open all the mail you get from the back though. He just lost 300 something dollars because he didn't open something that was time sensitive about some purchases they'd found receipts for.

Do you have pin numbers on your debit cards in the States? In Canada we do, so you have to have the password in order to use the debit card. (That would be pretty cool if he *was* a hot ghost hunter traveling across the country... I guess you could still say that it was!)
