Random stuff
Mar. 19th, 2007 02:12 pm-- My Internet has been down all damn day, so I packed up my crap and went to Panera. On the plus side, baked potato soup. On the minus side, not home. BOO.
-- Last night I made 5,250 copies of the One Tree Hill Road Mix. You're welcome, world.
-- Speaking of work, we got to leave two hours early last night. Score! The only problem was that we had to stay an extra ten minutes to correct a mistake, and I can safely say that I've never seen my co-workers move that fast. One of the guys I work with said, "So this is that teamwork they talked about in our meetings," which kind of made us all giggle because from him it was practically giddy.
-- I'm going to start another journal for my drunken movie recaps. Because, you know, I'm not preoccupied enough. (EDIT: And now there is
boos_hound. HEE.)
-- In related news I picked up a movie that I'd seen in the bargain bin at Wal-Mart and a six-pack of Smirnoff Grape for drunken recapping purposes. Really, this thing has been calling to me since I spotted it.
-- I had an idea for a fic where Sam and Dean get really wasted one night and end up getting married in Vegas under their aliases. *headdesk*
-- In the realm of stuff I really don't need to plan out because I've already got bunches of writing on my to-do list as it is, I came up with a really awesome character last night at work who fits into absolutely none of the original fiction I'm currently working on. Faaaaaabulous.
-- Also on my brain, an Alex/Jane Doe Grey's Anatomy fic. Because I'm pretty sure that's the only pairing on that show I don't have major problems with right now. *sigh*
-- Regarding last night's TAR (which I still haven't seen yet) ... oh, Eric. You make it so very, very, VERY easy to go back to referring to you simply as the Fratard.
-- Sweet Charity. C'mon, y'all, get cracking. :)
OTHER EDIT: Go Fug Yourself finally got around to Kelly Wearstler and her ridiculous excuse for a Top Design wardrobe, currently the most interesting thing on that show aside from the fact that Michael looks exactly what would have happened if Ralphie from A Christmas Story had gotten stuck in that pink bunny suit, locked himself in his closet and didn't come out or interest with other people or anything until he reached something vaguely resembling maturity.
Ahem. Anyway, I'm amazed they haven't gotten to her sooner, considering she dresses the same way I used to in middle school when I was positive that I would eventually be seen by my peers as some sort of revolutionary trendsetter and wore strips of fabric wrapped around my wrists and my mom's old sweaters from the early '80s and ridiculously voluminous skirts for months. Luckily I came to my senses before I wore the thirty-pound red velvet Ren Faire dress to school.
