According to ABC News, the count is now up to 29 dead.

It's just scary and surreal when stuff like this happens. My prayers go out to everybody there.

I'm glad I graduated from Virginia Tech when I did. There were a couple bomb scares while I was there, but this is just horrible. When I lived on campus, I was in the dorm that was right across from Ambler-Johnson, and I had a couple of classes in Norris. It definitely feels surreal, and especially so for me right now because more than half of my nearby coworkers also went to Virginia Tech.

God. That's half an hour from us; people here have boyfriends, girlfriends, friends and family at Tech and campus is crazy right now.

It's so fucking horrible.
