apocalypsosI'm three episodes into the first season of Project Catwalk.
It's really awful sometimes knowing damn well who the final three are because as much as I adore Kirsty and Matthew and the fact that the two designers I love best make the final three, I kinda want to punch Debi in the face. God, can't stand her. It's nice to know she doesn't win in the end, but at the same time I don't want to watch a girl who'll drink herself stupid the night before a challenge.
On a happier note, MATTHEW! Who is so freaking pretty, damn it. Just keep being pretty and adorable and puppyish and I shall love you. *snuggles him*
I also love Chris as well. So adorable, and maybe a little hot.
I haaaaate Ben. Hate, hate, hate. You have to be amazing to make up for Tim Gunn, and he's just ... not. Not the least of which being that the one time I agreed with Debi was when she got on his case for pretty much doing Zoe's work for her two challenges in a row. "No, do it like this." GRRRR. He's so damn shrill.
And while I like Elizabeth Hurley, I don't like her as a host half as much as I do Heidi. Heidi's really loosened up and gotten a bit silly over time, but Elizabeth Hurley seems a bit stiff.
Maybe it's just me, but are the fashions on this version less ... I don't know. Pedestrian? I think that's the word I'm looking for. There's just something about the outfits being shown that I like a great deal better than most of the stuff on Project Runway.
And there's another season for me to download and watch, too! YAY! It's like all new Project Runway episodes. *beams*

Date: 2007-06-15 03:19 am (UTC)I loved Kirsty and Chris, and although Debi was grating, she at least stood up to the judges. Ben is dreadful, and Matthew's cute-little-boy persona really rubs me the wrong way - I want to give him a good shake and tell him not to mumble!
