My grandmother occasional refers to Locks of Love (although not by name), but since her advice to female family family members about how to treat their hair is always pointing to, "natural color (no matter how much grey), short, and permed to a bubble," I ignore her.
Really I just have long hair because I'm too lazy to cut it more than once every year or two, and my hair grows so fast that bangs spend most of their time long enough to curl aside from my glasses unattractively. So I go for all-one-length and down to my waist or longer, and I can just braid it back in the morning and then ignore it for the rest of the day.
