Male Clerk: I used to chat a lot, too.
Me: I don't so much anymore. I used to work with a guy and I told him my screen name, and once he tried to ask me out on IM.
Male Clerk: How about I ask you out?
Me: Uh, thank you, but no.

Dude. That was SO not what I was going for. Sheesh.

So apparently this is some sort of superpower, where I talk to a guy for more than thirty seconds and as long as I have absolutely no intention of ever going near him he immediately asks me out.

Quick! Somebody bring Jensen Ackles into the room!
