David Hasselhoff is going to perform tonight.

I am filled with both enormous dread and massive amounts of cheesy spastic glee at that. :)

EDIT: Dear Sean Kingston, you're supposed to sing a duet with the girl, not stand there and act "cool" while they play the song in the background. Sheesh.

OTHER EDIT: Terry's performing with fuckin' KERMIT. FUCKING AWESOME, Y'ALL.

SON OF EDIT: Have I mentioned lately how much I can't stand Julienne Irwin? No? Well, now I have. (The only comment I've posted over at TWoP in the past few months was in response to a guy who said that she'd be a lock to win because a young girl singing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" was guaranteed to win any talent contest. My response was, "You mean like that six-year-old on Britain's Got Talent who sang it at her audition and came in second?")

PLANET OF THE EDITS: *makes random squealing noises and wordless flailings* CasandterryandcasandterryandcasandterryandcasandterryandYAAAAAAAY. \o/

EDIT, PART TWELVE: HA! Piers has nightmares that look just like this. :)

I love that icon. Sometimes I wish real life came equipped with icons, so I could just put one up for whatever mood I am currently in at work. Fair warning, and all. :)

KERMIT THE FUCKING FROG!

Who cares about the rest of the show when that part's so awesome?

I know! They said it was his idol, and I was trying to guess, and then it was Kermit and I just about DIED. I was spazzing and screaming, so I can only imagine how Terry must have felt.

And the judges! HAHAHAHAHA! I totally have to post the clip of that when it hits Youtube. :)

I totally had the thought of Jim Henson (which I feel was totally valid given my family's equally impossible "it's totally Shari Lewis!") when he said it was his idol, but baring that I was thinking Carroll Spinney? Frank Oz? I NEVER guessed that Kermit would come out until I saw that set and went OMG! *flail!*

The most coherent the judges have been so far this season! XD

Heh. This is how dumb I was -- I was thinking of people. Like, singers. I kept trying to think of people he's imitated who are still alive. It's a short list. ;) (And hey, Kermit was one of them! Hi, EVEN DUMBER.)

That entire set was brilliant. And Beaker was wearing a short auburn wig!

Hahahaha, I completely forgot about him imitating Kermit too! Score one for me too. XD

And, YAY! He's still there! \o/

Oh praise Jesus, the little girl is gone. How she made it farther than Robert Hatcher, or Calypso Tumblers, or the Glamazons, is a mystery. And a travesty. But now it's been righted, and I don't have to worry about my husband throwing furniture at the tv.

Amen to that. I'll take any of the others winning, although I've gotten the impression from the responses I've seen to last week that Terry's going to take it. Which suits me just fine because I highly doubt that Cas and Butterscotch are going to walk out the door without recording contracts.

Ok, is it wrong of me to hope that Kashif and Boy Shakira are on a date?

Oh, thank God, I wasn't the only one thinking that.

Yes!! And now both of the really annoying girls are gone! I am now perfectly happy with whoever wins. (Though Cas could totally get a recording contract on his now, so he doesn't need to win, really!)

(Also, since when is beatboxing a "new" kind of music??)

YAY! *twirls*

I did like Butterscotch, though. She could use polishing, but she's not half as dreadful as Julienne.

And I think if what I read on his website is right, Terry's gotten his Las Vegas show, which is great because now either one of them can win and I too will be perfectly happy. :)

(OMGYES. Get out more, Jerry. Beatboxing isn't new. Sheesh.)

Their love is so earnest.

See, I liked Butterscotch in the beginning, when she would sing and beatbox and play the piano. And then she lost the piano somewhere along the line. And then she became mostly beatboxing. And... meh. But, no no, you're right, she's nowhere near Julienne. *shudders*

Oh! I didn't know that! That's great news... and now I'm being traumatized by the Champions. Must go hide now. XD

See, I think you're totally right on that, but I also think that the judges did a lot of tugging her back and forth with that. Most of her performances, I can remember Piers or Sharon saying something like, "Less beatboxing! More singing! Wait, now I miss the beatboxing! Wait, where'd the piano go?" If I were her I would have been banging my head off the wall.

HEEE. You just know Piers totally has nightmares just like this. And they probably end with Hasselhoff singing, too. *giggles*

This is very, very true. There are some contestants that the judges aren't really sure what to do with and she was one of them. She's probably got a good shot at getting some sort of contract, so hopefully she gets to do something more stable with it, without the judges pulling her in each and every direction. I wanted to still like her, really! Once she gets herself settled, I probably would again too.

*dies* I think I'm starting to have some of those same nightmares right now... *reminds self that he's hug in Germany for some reason* Oh God, I can't stop laughing!
