While tree220, qnotku, and I were watching QE, the fire alarm started going off. It's not loud or anything, just this steady, persistent, annoying ding.

This went on for about twenty minutes before I finally snapped, "All right, you can stop now. I swear, I'm not on fire."

The dinging immediately stopped.

So, today I learned that I have the mutant ability to control fire alarms.

Fear me, oh puny mortals, for I shall attack your place of business and force you to have twenty-minute paid smoke breaks while firefighters enter your deserted workplace and rifle through your desk drawers for naughty things. *maniacal cackle*
