yuletide fic this weekend. I know exactly what I'm going to write but I really need to be in the right mood to write it. I think that's probably going to require vodka shots and angry chick rock, so it'll have to wait until Friday at the earliest.
As for the new novel ... hmm. It's kind of slow in coming at the moment, mostly because my mind can't particularly settle on exactly what the hell is going on. I figure it'll click in eventually, or at the very least when I get out the image I have of the first chapter, but until then it's fairly amorphous and ... well, fucked. I hate my brain right now, honest to God.
And now for fannishness ...
For all that I love to see the plus-sized models these shows bring on, I hate the accompanying whining that comes with it. Is it seriously that difficult for these people to design for girls with some tits and a real ass? Those girls were freaking gorgeous, y'all. I could swear one of them looked exactly like Sara Ramirez.
I expected Shernett to go instead of Kendra, though. *sigh* That sucks. At least Kendra smiles occasionally. Shernett always looks like she's at her own goddamn funeral.
Meanwhile, Lucian? Still hot. Please continue to keep dressing as if "I Can't Decide" is about to pop up on the soundtrack of your life, thank you very much.
Also, Biddell? Still a dicksmack. He makes me want to go look at Lucian some more.
I really did not need to see Stephen in that swimsuit, although HA. The first time I saw him I kind of had to pause, all, "Wait, is he trans?" No, he's just that wee and femme. And I did adore him for knowing he could do swimwear and being all casually, "Oh, I've never done it before."

Oh, Anna. Don't be that girl. I mean, you can be the scary chick, but not the jealous one, and certainly not over freakin' Morgan. Le sigh.
As for Bryce ... okay, I'm not the only one thinking something's up there right? I mean, aside from the obvious. He says Chuck is his only real friend and asks how he ended up where he ended up, Chuck says, "You got me kicked out of Stanford," and Bryce's response is, "... bwuh?" Really? Did the Haitian skip fandoms and hit him with the whammy? Because, honestly, yo.
I do not envy Sarah's dilemma, but on the same token I hate that it's her having that dilemma. Because yes, they are two great guys, and yes, I like her fine. But man, am I not particularly enthused about either one of them with her. Now her with Casey ... that might be interesting.
Also, aw. Poor Jeff. Poor Jeff's head.
