Oh, yeah, I almost forgot.

Remember that maintenance tech job I applied for something like a month and a half ago? I got an email yesterday that said they want to do a phone interview with me.

Which, okay, does not mean I'm going to get the job or anything. And in all honesty I have zero experience being a technician, although there's training and I'm a quick learner and it's not like I didn't make it plainly clear in my online resume that I have no experience. And I'm sure they're interviewing everybody who applied.

But, erm. *chews lip*

It's not that I wouldn't like the job. I probably would, since I'm always glued to whatever the techs are doing at work anyway and asking them how they're fixing stuff and having them show me what they're doing just in case I can fix it myself without their help later. Plus, it pays better than the job I've got now and it's got tuition reimbursement. That's not to mention that I really do want a new job and I'm two weeks away from the beginning of the new year, which means four personal days and eight vacation days coming to me on the first which I could start taking as soon as they hire me and this way get paid for two jobs at once for three straight weeks.

But, you know, new job. I'm so freaking nervous about this and it's not even actually GETTING the job. It's just a damn phone interview.

*sigh*

Why can't there be a nice cushy job around here with tuition reimbursement where you can read books, take naps, eat candy and play with kittens all day?

Oh, wait, I had that job when I was five. Never mind.
