Oh, man. Oh, MAN. If Winchestercon is in Boston this year, I will FLIP THE FUCK OUT. Jesus, I can drive to Boston! In an afternoon! On one tank of gas! If that fucker's in Boston, I can totally go this year. *dances*

And while I'm at it, I'm indecisive. I'm signed up for nothing fic-wise, and while I still have to get Clex's Sweet Charity story written one of these days (which I'm hoping to get done in the next couple of months just to get the poor thing off my plate) and I'm definitely signing up for spn_j2_bigbang if we're getting another round (and I already know what I'm writing, and while it's got a lot in common with what I wrote last year, it's a moral imperative I write it), I'm thinking of signing up for abouttwoboys, the SPN/CWRPS rom-com challenge. I have two ideas which are just killing me ... help me out, which would you rather see me hit?

Ahahaha, I'm the only one who wants to see one of the boys as a virgin apparently. Though, seriously, that was a freakin' hard choice.

Also Nan said that signups for the next round of spn_j2_bigbang go up soemwhere around next Monday. WOOT!

Oh, I imagine that at the very least I just put an plotbunny in somebody's head with that one. :) (I have this mental image of Jensen and Jared working together and Jared finds out that Jensen's never had sex. Like, ever. And it's just complete bad luck not that I can't identify with that at ALL. He's so pretty he intimidates girls, and then he just gets interrupted or is too shy or whatever. And so Jared and Chad and Chris and everybody decide to get together to get him laid, and NO, I decided on Shaun of the Dead, dammit. *stands firm*)

*dances* I know EXACTLY what I'm writing. I've known since somewhere in the middle of the last Big Bang. And really, I could have written it on its own, but ... well. God knows writing other things hasn't gone so well. *sigh*

I'm totally ignoring this plotbunny. I've already got a Jess lives AU, an RPS Vet AU, a Sam/Jess fic and two J2 fics mid-planning. I need no more bunnies. None at all. I'm going to convince myself of this eventually, yes I am.

Also. UNFAIR. I've got all that crap up there and I still have no freakin' idea what I'm doing. It's probably gonna end up like last year with me doing four or five different plots before finally settling on one.

Well, theoretically I shouldn't be doing either plotbunny, since I told myself I was going to restrict myself to Big Bang and Yuletide this year and that's IT. My New Year's Resolution is 150k of original work and by God I'm going to do it. But, you know, I need to have some fun.

Heh. Yeah, let's see how this one turns out, though. I thought I knew exactly what I was doing with Big Bang last year and ended up working on four different ideas before Boys in Spandex. :)

Oh, man, I know! I told myself I wasn't gonna sign up for challenges since I'm still doing my SC fics and then I realized I could, like, out Jensen in front of an entire high school and make Chad a great big loser and the next thing I knew I had claimed A Cinderella Story. Stupid brain.

Good point. Every idea really seems like the perfect one until it falls apart on you or another idea smacks you upside the head.

I'm trying to decide how I want to do this because, really, Chad would make a faaabulous Ed. But then again so would Mike. I'M SO CONFLICTED.

I'm hoping this Big Bang works, 'cause it still makes me giddy just thinking about it. It could work as a crossover, except I obviously don't want to do a crossover, and it's an AU that would work so well. I really should start writing down notes for it. Mmm-hmm.

Shaun of the Dead is totally a rom-com; I mean the whole thing is about Shaun trying to win his girlfriend back (and, okay, survive the zombies too). That's the definition of rom-com.

I have just spent, like, the last twelve minutes talking this through with someone who has never seen the movie (BLASPHEMY!) and explaining all the roles and I still can't figure out which one is best. They're both kind of absolutely perfect.

Also? Because I haven't said that at all in this comment yet Now I'm even more intrigued about your fic. Argh, why must it be so far away?

Well, look at it like this. You'll be done with abouttwoboys loooooong before you get too far into your Big Bang. (Seriously, last year the first few weeks of Big Bang were me just trying to settle on an idea. I didn't get any writing done at ALL.)

I need the inspiration, I think. I haven't written much in so long I'm feeling dried out.

And homigod, Boston. It's, like, perfect for me. I can drive there! I can sleep on my grandpa's couch if I'm really desperate! I can stay a few days longer and hit all the museums and stuff and maybe go to a ball game depending on when they have it! *crosses fingers*

I know. I feel the same. I wrote one fic back in April and a few for the Xmas holidays, and that's that. I blame my RPG for that, though. I'm hoping that this will get me writing again.

I know. I'm in NY so I'll drive up after work, spend the week-end, it'll be perfect. My family won't mind if I'm gone for three days. LA becomes a lot more difficult.
