apocalypsosOkay, this thing with the game of Musical Ailments needs to stop post-haste. This morning, I was nauseous, all day my nose was plugged up, and now I have a headache that's trying to pound out escape routes through both temples. And now I just sneezed so hard I think I sprained a muscle I didn't even know I had.
Anyway. Just got finished watching QE, and I wish I knew how to make animated icons if only to make one of Carson making OMG-face at Steven's changing room doorslam. Loved how dedicated he was to doing everything right, even if he did screw up the smoothies. But someone seriously needs to inform Goth Girl that her look? About five years out of date, oh ye of the sailor's vocabulary.
Oh, and you know that Rolling Stone meme? I'd do it, but I bought the issue today and I think trying to read it on the bus was what gave me this stupid headache. The cool thing is that it comes with a really great sampler of songs off the list. Right now, I'm on "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road". Man, I forgot how much I loved Elton John -- the old stuff, not the new songs. Suppose I should be grateful it isn't "Tiny Dancer" ... ever since "Almost Famous", that song has me bawling by the end.
