I slept wrong on my back last night and it hurts. I've been lying on my bed with a Thermacare patch on my lower back for an hour now. My apartment is very big. The bathroom is on the other side of the apartment. I have to pee.

I've been telling Otis to go fetch me the toilet for ten minutes now.

... he's laughing at me, isn't he?

Ouch. Have you tried taking some ibuprofen or something, just in case it's infected? Might help the healing.

Hot bath?

Might loosen your back, and if you have to piss? Drain the water and take another :P

Stretching it out might be the best thing for it; short of a massage.

A lot of times, the pain and stiffness come from fluid trapped in the muscles and working them releases it.

Ibuprofen, Aleve, or some other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug will help. Tylenol and aspirin are analgesics and don't do as well with muscle pain.
